Accounting/Office Management
Job Description
The accounting/office management position will be a LONG-TERM, part- to full-time position (25 hours minimum). This individual will be responsible for accounting and bookkeeping using Quickbooks as well as certain ongoing administrative tasks critical to maintaining an efficient, well-run office environment. This position may also involve certain project-specific assistance on a project-by-project basis. The IHS working environment is highly fluid and requires a cheerful, dynamic individual with the ability to proactively take responsibility for tasks and work independently to complete them.
Examples of these tasks follow:
- Bookkeeping
- Assisting with billing
- Management of office supplies and equipment
- Maintaining an organized filing and records system
- Maintaining and updating client/prospect information database
- Coordinating report and presentation production
- Coordinating travel arrangements through our travel agent
- Assisting IHS Research Analysts, Consultants and Managers with project-specific tasks including:
- Data entry
- Data analysis
- Preparation of instructional materials to assist in optimizing reimbursement
- Report and presentation editing
Confidence with Microsoft Windows XP programs is a must. Specific experience with Quickbooks, email systems, MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint is highly desired.
Salary is negotiable and will depend upon candidate's experience and hours available for work.
